The face shields are made by our volunteers using clear plastic, 1/2" white elastic, rulers, scissors and hole punches. They are made in a clean & safe environment, and all our volunteers are required to wear masks/face coverings and gloves. Every shield is also sanitized with 70% alcohol or disinfecting wipes prior to delivery to ensure our essential workers' safety. The face shields are 12.5" x 10.25" long and they cover the average person's face. However, if you need a different or specific size, please visit our Contact Us page and let us know in the order form!
Our volunteers can do everything from helping make our face shields to displaying their talent virtually, whatever it may be. If you would like to become a volunteer, please fill out our form on our Contact Us page to indicate your interest! We'd love to have you!
It's completely up to you if you would like to add foam on your face shield, just let us know either way when you place an order!
Yes, you can! Our volunteers would love to make an event just for you, so if you love our videos and would like to plan a special live performance or a reading, please email us at thedistanceddifference@gmail.com with the details and we can set it up!
We currently provide the face shields locally to New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, however we are looking to expand soon! Please visit our Contact Us if you are outside these states and are in dire need of face shields.
The shields will be delivered within 2 weeks once your order is placed & confirmed.
